What is Virtual Box?

  • A virtual box is an open-source application that is developed by oracle corporation. It is truly an open-source application that we can download easily and run.
  • In the virtual box, we can create a virtual machine in which we can run or operate any operating system.
  • The operating system in which Virtual Box runs is called the "host" OS.
  • In VM we install any operating system like Linux, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, macOS, etc. without affecting the actual operating system.
  • When configuring a virtual machine, the user can specify how many CPU cores, and how much RAM and disk space should be devoted to the VM.

 Procedure to install Virtual Box:

1] Go to any browser and search Virtual box download for windows 10, 7, or 8 other.


2] Then go to the oracle link.
3]Download virtual box which supports either 32 bit or 64 bit.


4]Go to the Downloads folder and we see the file. Double click on and then click on the Next button.


5]Then we see the install button click on it and installation continues.

6]After installing the application click on the finish button.
